This event is designed for high school students and their parents/guardians to learn more about careers and pathways to pursue dance beyond high school.

Sessions will explore topics such as career pathways in dance, preparing for college, branding and social media best practices, careers in concert dance, commercial dance, a parent-only session, and career “speed dating”. All students will also participate in either a modern dance or Hip-hop masterclass.

Registration is required. The registration fee includes the student, one parent/guardian, and lunch (Note: If a parent or guardian is unable to attend, students are still welcome to participate on their own.)

I HAVE A NAME: A World-Premiere Dance-Theatre Work
After a year of conversations, research, workshops, and rehearsals, we’re finally here! On Sunday, November 22, at 7 PM, I’ll be performing in MoJo Co.Lab’s first fully collaborative dance-theatre work, I HAVE A NAME.
Created through a collaboration between Director and Movement Artist Morgan Joanne Grube of MoJo Co.Lab and Theater Artist and Script Writer Olivia Eberhart of The Matrescence Project, I HAVE A NAME explores the journey into and through motherhood—a transformative experience known as matrescence.
Through movement, storytelling, and shared experiences, this work explores motherhood, identity, resilience, longing, and transformation. It unfolds portraits of the many selves we carry, the ones we leave behind, and the ones we reclaim along the way.
I’m grateful to be part of this collaborative process and to contribute to a work that invites us to reflect on the complexities of identity, the ways we change throughout our lives, and the stories that shape who we are.

Through the Neighbor Up Action Grant, Sustaining Movement Services is expanding inclusive, neighborhood-based dance opportunities for adults with disabilities through the “Dance in the Square” initiative. In partnership with Do Good Day Hub, City Ballet of Cleveland, and Cleveland City Dance, monthly adaptive dance classes will foster creativity, connection, and a sense of belonging within the Shaker Square community. Participants and their caregivers will also have opportunities to attend live performances, strengthening relationships and increasing access to meaningful cultural experiences.
