About

About Me

One of the ways I like to move through life is by solving problems the way I know best—through movement (both physically and motivationally). I am a dance artist, educator, and leader committed to using dance as a tool for connection, growth, and transformation.

Mission

Sustaining Movement

My artistic foundation has been shaped over my 20-year career with the Dancing Wheels Company & School, a Cleveland, Ohio-based physically integrated dance company and school that unites dancers with and without disabilities. That experience defined not only my performance career but also my understanding of inclusion, collaboration, and the power of movement to shift perspectives. I took my final bow as a company dancer in February 2022, but my work with Dancing Wheels—and my impact in the field—continues to evolve.

Throughout my career, I have held multiple leadership roles that have expanded my perspective beyond the stage. As Tour Manager for 13 years, I coordinated national and international travel, managed logistics, and supported the operational backbone of a touring company. As Rehearsal Director, I led and motivated dancers, helping bring artistic visions to life. Today, as Director of Education, I design and oversee programming, train dancers, and teach physically integrated dance as a Master Teaching Artist—working with individuals of all abilities to build confidence, creativity, and self-awareness.

When the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the arts landscape, I chose to invest in my growth. I pursued a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership at Mercyhurst University, strengthening my ability to lead with intention, adaptability, and purpose. This academic journey deepened my commitment not only to advancing as an artist but also to becoming a strategic thinker and community-focused leader.

In 2024, I founded Sustaining Movement Services as a platform to expand my teaching, consulting, and creative work. Through this venture, I explore new ways to engage people in movement—supporting individuals, educators, and organizations in building inclusive, empowering environments.

At the core of everything I do is a simple but powerful belief: movement is more than physical—it shapes how we think, connect, and grow. My mission is to strengthen movement in all its forms by cultivating continuous improvement, resilience, and empowerment in myself and others.

I lead with integrity, inclusivity, and accountability, striving to create spaces where everyone feels valued and capable of doing their best. As I continue to grow, I remain committed to learning, evolving, and helping others achieve their goals—on and off the dance floor.
